We require full payment in the form of an official check, such as a certified check or money order, prior to shipment. If you like, you may pay for the shipping costs separately with a major credit card.
If the instrument is in stock, we will place it on hold for you until we receive payment. We will provide you with the costs for fully insured, next day, 2nd day and 3rd day shipping. Once we receive your official check, we will ship the instrument to you according to your shipping choice. We ship via UPS and require an adult signature upon delivery for all instruments. Please plan to be available for delivery, or provide us with an address where someone is able to receive your instrument and sign for you.
If the instrument is not in stock, it is considered a special order instrument and we will quote you a delivery time, based on Fox's production schedule. Before we place the order with Fox, we will carefully go over the order with you, including any special options you may choose and ask for your written approval of the order by way of email or fax.
We require a minimum 25% non-refundable deposit at the time the instrument is ordered, and the balance of payment is required about a week or two before the instrument ships to you. New instrument sales are considered Final Sales and are not returnable or refundable.
When someone wants to buy one of our instruments, we try our hardest to make it easy for them. While using a credit card would be easy indeed, it is also an unfortunate reality that there are folks out there who would use the system to steal an instrument. We are serious about both your safety, the safety of our instruments, as well as the insuring our financial liability. If you are so inclined, we are happy to provide references to help assure you of our legitimacy and methods.
In many cases, buying an instrument is a major purchase and we are quite comfortable working with you. While we often can not hold an in-stock instrument for months, we fully anticipate that it may take you a week or two to arrange for funds to be available. If you are special ordering an instrument, there is often adequate time to make arrangements, but again, please communicate your expectations to us when you place an instrument on order, and we will do our best to work with you to find a optimal payment schedule.
Fox instrument purchasers are entitled to a complete servicing of their Fox or Renard instrument within one year of purchase by Fox, with the customer's costs to be limited to parts and shipping charges. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.
